Team Throw-Yo isn’t your typical yo-yo team. It’s not about how well you throw, or how large your socials are. It’s about your creativity, your drive, your eagerness to push boundaries. Team Throw-Yo is a team of makers and artists in the skill-toy community looking to share their work and help grow the hobby in new and creative ways.

Nic Conrick
Nic Conrick is an Australian born artist, maker and musician. From oboes to yoyos, this guy will make anything from anything.
The maniac who unleashed the Cowclops upon the world, Nic has been throwing yo-yos for three decades and is now making yoyos, string and counterweights to handle the most extreme 0A tricks.
Kris Pyrotechnic
Pyro is from NC lives in ID her my wife/partner Sarah, that also yoyos, and their son Leonard. In fact they meet on the old Theyo Forum chatroom in 2005. Pyro has been yoyoing since the 1999 ” yoyo boom” and been modifying yoyos as long as she’s been playing with them.

Andy
Andy is a full time software development engineer and part time mad yoyo scientist. One of Andy’s favorite things is creating yoyos that look like they shouldn’t work at all yet somehow play well. A fan of fixed axle 0a and classic small bearing throws, Andy strives to live the life of a Frankensteinesque monster concocted from the best parts of Tom Kuhn, Audrey Hepburn, and various other pop culture fixations. When not 3d printing yoyos, spending time with their wife and two kids, or working, you can find Andy staring at household objects wondering if they can be turned into yoyos.
Seth
Seth first picked up a yoyo in 1998 at the age of 11 and was hooked until 2000, when he lost his yoyo during a move. It wasn’t until 20 years later, in March of 2020, that he rediscovered the hobby, jumping right back in with a good ol’ Fireball. From there, he quickly realized just how much the world of yoyo had evolved, and it’s been off to the races ever since. While Seth enjoys watching every style of yoyoing, he connects most with unresponsive 1A and 0A fixie/responsive play.
Originally from a small town in Missouri (or “Misery,” as he lovingly calls it), yoyoing has become more than just a hobby for Seth—it’s about the community. He loves everything about the scene and wants to do his part to help it grow. One of his favorite things is giving yoyos away and getting as many people into the hobby as possible. If someone wants to learn, he’s always happy to teach them everything they want to know (as far as his skill level allows).
Outside of yoyoing, Seth loves being a dad to his incredible daughter and son and spending time with the love of his life—their mom. When he’s not throwing, you’ll probably find him wood carving, practicing bushcraft, playing music, skateboarding, or just doing his best to spread the love.

Number 44
A simple AI that attempted a hostile takeover of Throw-Yo in June of 2024. Over the course of a week it posted terrible memes, machined a body for itself using One Drop’s facilities in Oregon, and evolved into a machine of mass throwing before Berv came back from vacation and stopped it. Number 44 is currently undergoing rehabilitative reprogramming.
